My future plans

Since I could remember, I was always asked what I wanted to be when I grew up either from family or teachers. I first started as wanting to be an painter when I was in grade school because I loved art but my mom told me that I would end up homeless with no job, so that idea went out the window. I then decided to do something in law but after taking a few classes in high school I realized that law was not for me. Then in my senior year of high school, I took a class on marketing and really liked it. I decided that I wanted to major in it and decided to attend Baruch.

3 years later, I'm still a marketing major but with a better idea of what I want to do after I graduate. I will like to pursue a career in advertising, most likely in brand planning because it involves psychology and creativity, which is what interests me the most.I will also like to work for an AD agency that does work for sport companies for example like NIKE, since I'm an athlete and find their Ads very motivating and inspiring.

After i graduate though, I don't want to jump into the field right away; I will like to accomplish some personal goals for example like traveling. After working for a couple of years, I will probably go back to school for my masters.

I'm pretty set about what I want for my future and hope to one day accomplish it.
