The professor knew that most of us were not happy with our grades. Therefore he decided to give us a second chance at getting a good grade for the class, as well as teaching us about decision making. He decided to let us decide on what to do with the first test as well as deciding what the format for the next test will be. He left us with no guidelines other than our decision having to be a reasonable one. Also that the whole class had to agreed on it. At first first it was very unorganized until one of the students stepped in as a leader and helped make the communication between the students more clear and organized. Everyone around the room threw in ideas until we settled with what we will do with the first test. As for the second test we were not as successful on deciding the format, but we all agreed on leaving it to the discretion of the professor.
I acted as a collaborator in this project because I will listen to what everyone will say and then will raise my hand if I liked it, as well if it seemed fair and reasonable. I had the same interest as everyone in the class in making my grade better, we were all equal and knew we needed to work together to come up with a good decision within the given time.
After the lecture in the following class, I agree with what professor Kurpis said about splitting the class into groups and getting a decision from each group. In this way there will have been less yelling in the class and perhaps we will have decided on something much faster in a more organized way.

The planning process
We went through most of the planning process except for developing alternative scenarios. We were too confident in our first plan and therefore felt like we did not need need an alternative plan. I felt like if we will have thought of other plans, perhaps we could have been more successful. Also, we did not talk about the strengths that we had as a group. Other than that I feel like we went through all the other steps. We defined our goal, we wanted to save the egg from breaking and we wanted the extra credit. We also knew that we only had 25 minutes to plan our task and implement it. A weakness that we mentioned was that we were the farthest from the scissors, so we had to figure out a way to get them first. We then divided our roles, some of us worked on making the egg basket, while another person worked on getting the scissors. I was the smallest from the group, so I was chosen to get on the table to trow the egg, like that we believed the distance from me to the floor will have been shorter and there will be less impact to the egg. Overall, I do think we all cared about the task and wanted to get that extra credit and therefore worked together to try and make it happen.
